Government SKUs retired from CSP Pricelist
As of October 1 2018, Microsoft will be removing government-priced offers and government-priced add-ons from both the license-based price list and catalogue in the CSP program so no new subscriptions can be acquired. This change ONLY impacts new subscriptions. No action is required for existing subscriptions of government-priced offers; these will continue to auto-renew.
CSP government-priced offers “government pricing” in their offer names are virtually the same as their commercial counterparts, with the only difference being the offer name. This change will reduce clutter in the catalogue and price list and is in response to partner feedback.
You may view a full list of retiring SKUs along with their commercial equivalent here: https://assetsprod.microsoft.com/government-priced-offer-commercial-equivalent.xlsx

Dynamics 365 Additional Database Storage price increase and rename
To simplify the way customers purchase Dynamics additional capacity for their service, Microsoft is changing the way storage, production instance and non-production instance are licensed. With this change, customers may purchase single SKU and have the flexibility to create production or non-production instances of any size (minimum 1GB). With this simpler model, the separate purchase of additional production/non-productions instance add-on SKUs will no longer be required. The change will take place from October 1st, 2018 US time.
With this change, Microsoft will be renaming the SKU from Additional Database storage to CDS for Apps Database Capacity for Dynamics 365 for Customer engagement plan and apps. Microsoft will also be increasing the price of Additional database storage / CDS for Apps Database Capacity. For more information, please refer to this price change blog.
Microsoft MCA requirement Preparation
As mentioned in the CSP update blog last year, as a partner in Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program a CSP reseller is responsible for reviewing Microsoft’s terms and conditions with customers, including the acceptable use of Microsoft products and services. The Microsoft Cloud Agreement (MCA) protects partners, customers and Microsoft by providing the customer’s use rights, terms, and conditions granted for Microsoft Cloud product and service orders.
Starting November 7th 2018, it is a requirement for CSP indirect resellers to confirm that their customers have accepted the Microsoft Cloud Agreement terms through PRISM portal. All CSP reseller transacting through rhipe will need to enter all customers’ information including first name, last name, email address and signing date.
You will only be able to make new purchases or edits to a subscription for new or existing customers after you have confirmed acceptance from the customer.
For more details of what you need to do to prepare for the change, please visit our rhipe CSP MCA FAQ page here.
