Microsoft MCA Requirement Live
From November 7th 2018, it is a requirement for CSP indirect resellers to confirm that their customers have accepted the Microsoft Cloud Agreement terms in CSP through PRISM portal. All CSP reseller transacting through rhipe will need to enter all customers’ information including first name, last name, email address and signing date.
From today onwards, you will only be able to make new purchases or edits to a subscription for new or existing customers after you have confirmed acceptance from the customer.

New SKUs including Microsoft 365 A5 and Microsoft 365 E5 (Non-profit) Added to CSP pricelist
There are many new SKUs added to Microsoft CSP pricelist this month, mainly the new Dynamics 365 SKUs and Dynamics NFP SKUs
The Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition – Additional Production and Non-Production instance SKUs, which were removed from the CSP price list last month, are also added back to the price list.
Not all SKUs will be available in your county. Check with your account manager for more details.

New services available for Azure reservations in CSP
Microsoft has announced the availability of more services under Azure reservations for the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program, with more offers coming soon. By bringing Azure reservations, and server subscriptions, and Azure Hybrid Benefit services to CSP, Microsoft is better enabling partners to grow their cloud solution practice by taking advantage cost savings from Azure reservations & server software to target and win predictable cloud workloads.

Skype for Business (Plan 1) Retired
Effective November 2018 the Skype for Business Online (Plan 1) offers will no longer be available for purchase for new or existing customers via the Cloud Solution Provider program. After this date existing customers with active subscriptions to these offers will be able to continue using their subscriptions until the end of their subscription term however 1) these offers will no longer auto-renew and 2) purchases of additional licenses and/or renewals for those subscriptions will not be available.
Upon ending their subscription term existing customers may choose to maintain Plan 1 functionality and gain additional F1 functionality by transitioning to the Microsoft Office 365 F1 SKUs.

Skype for business is now Teams
Microsoft has announced the merger of Skype for Business Online with Teams, meaning any customer with 500 seats or less will be automatically upgraded to Microsoft Teams starting September 30, 2018.
